Two very cheap airtel data plans were launched recently and it was posted here.  It was discovered that they can only be used on 2g network and it’s so annoying. The speed is frustrating especially when trying todownload with it. So I decided to try some tricks to make it work

To do this,  we will use some files which I have provided download links for.

How To Do It

Download script manager here

=> Download Turbo Changer Script 2G/3G here (http://www58.zippyshare.com/v/lVz8fEfP/file.html)

=> Download the above file and keep it safe before you proceed below .
Start the 3G/4G optimizer :
Choose network speed as 12/28/7(set to max)

=>you’ll select down speed increase

=> then apply the changes made .

=> You’ll Restart the device once you save the changes

=>Then Open the script manager
Browse the file which you downloaded (ie) 3G Turbo script text file changer

=> Allow the Super User (grand Permission)or else click on the Super user icon , grant permission and run the script
Scroll up and set the setting to Fastest to get the maximum Data Speed .
Reboot your device

=> Switch To WCDMA Mode on Setting(network)

NOTE
1. Your device must be rooted to make this trick work.
2. Reboot where ever its required .

Now you can enjoy 3g speed on the airtel 2gdata plan

IPhone 6 And 6 Plus Sales Banned In China

iPhone 6 And 6 Plus Sales Banned In China – A court in Beijing, China, has banned sales of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in China over its similarity to an existing Chinese device.

The phones had been deemed similar to Shenzhen Baili’s 100C phone, with the intellectual property court ruling against Apple.

In a statement, Apple revealed that all brands are on sale in what is the company’s second-biggest market, as they have appealed the decision at a higher court.

The statement reads:-

“iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as well as iPhone 6s, iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone SE models are all available for sale today in China. We appealed an administrative order from a regional patent tribunal in Beijing last month and as a result the order has been stayed pending review by the Beijing IP Court.”

According to the Wall Street Journal, most phone stores in Beijing have already stopped selling the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, favoring the newer models iPhone 6s and 6s plus.

This marks yet another struggle for Apple in China, after the company’s movie and books service was shut down recently for not having appropriate licenses. The company’s struggles in China have already begun worrying investors, with share price already down on Friday.

Too Bad!! Justin Bieber Falls Off Stage During Concert

Justin lost focus as he was adjusting his pants and there was a loud thud as he crashed into the end of the stage.

The act of ‘falling’ might just be one of Justin Bieber‘s favorite hobbies, considering the amount of times the singer has lost his footing in times past.

Justin, during a concert in support of his fourth studio album Purpose in Saskatoon, Canada, lost focus as he was adjusting his pants and there was a loud thud as he crashed into the end of the stage. Ouch!

Taking the fall like a champ (he isn’t new to falls), the 22-year-old picked himself up and said to the crowd:-

‘Good thing I’m like a cat and landed on my feet, that scared the f–k outta me.’

Combating ‘Tomato Ebola’ without unleashing cancer on Nigerians, by Animashaun, horticulturist

Mufutau Animasaun, a doctorate degree holder in horticulture with emphasis on post-harvest pathology from Writtle College, University of Essex, England, and a former Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Cooperatives and Rural Development, speaks on the soil-borne pest currently afflicting the production of tomato across the country.

Presently, fruits and vegetable farms in Nigeria are afflicted by tuta-absoluta, locally known as Tomato Ebola. Can you explain  what tuta absoluta is, how it attacks vegetables and what is  needed to stop its spread?

Tuta-absoluta is an intelligent   insect that has a distinctive survival instinct, it’s a pest that destroys tomato crops and it has been prevalent in this country for 50 years , but just discovered few years back. The attention is just coming up now because of the intensity of the attack. It is a soil-borne pest that feeds on tomato, garden egg,   aubergine,   potato and tobacco plants.   The pest spreads very quickly, it has a high reproductive potential and a life cycle of  between 24 to 76 days, depending on  environmental conditions. Adults are silvery gray with black spots on the forewings . Their activity is concentrated in the early morning and dusk; during the rest of the day they remain hidden among the leaves. Adult lifespan ranges between 10 and 15 days for females and 6–7 days for males. The female lays the eggs mainly on the leaves, although they can also be found on stems and sepals. Eggs are laid isolated, thus facilitating their distribution on the crop. The number of eggs per female is usually between 40 and 50 and may reach 260. I think we need to deploy different approaches to solving the problem. First is the approach of attacking the insect  itself at the reproduction stages. It’s not only about attacking at the point of attack, but also killing the egg before hatching, that is completely wiping it off from our farm land nationwide. We need an entomologist report to identify the specie of the pest, because it’s possible that the specie that can survive in Kano and Kaduna might not survive in Jos and Yola because of the varied temperature. That means we have to develop many approaches. The second  approach   is to identify which stage of the lifecycle that attacks the fruits because I know that it’s a moth that reproduces twelve times a year and it can be terminated before it matures to the age that attacks the fruit. The third is the pesticide method: though some experts have suggested the use of pesticides, we have to be very careful; some pesticides are systemic, you intend to control the insects but the tomatoes can take it up and when eaten fresh can be carcinogenic and cause harm to the human body.

What is the meaning of carcinogenic?

It means it causes cancer; so we have to be very careful. An expert suggested that we use the protocol of insecticide which means once you use one insecticide today, tomorrow you use another one, it’s dangerous because it means the insect  can even develop  resistance to that protocol. Another approach is the biological approach, that is, finding parasites that feed on the insects.

If you are getting the parasites to feed on them, how then do you bring a contact?

You have to study the lifecycle of that insect and know the stage it uses to attack the fruits, and send the parasite during this stage to kill it out rightly and study the parasite so that it would not be injurious to the plant, so you know it’s a two-way approach so as not to bring about another problem to the plant itself.

What should the government do to have an all encompassing proactive approach to protecting our food and crops?

The most lacking thing in crop harvest in this country is post-harvest technology, management   and packaging. These are very essential and   important in any nations agricultural growth. This  is what gives the developed economies  an  edge over us. They believe in technology and spend money on research. You can’t   import a technology that was made for a country with different climate to a country that has a very strong climate. I am an ardent preacher of environmental reality.Any problem in this country has its own solution here and not a borrowed solution  that might solve the problem temporarily.

What do mean?

I am saying that I can solve this ‘Tomato Ebola’ outbreak locally in synergy with other indigenous plant protection experts. I did my doctorate degree thesis on  post-harvest pathology. I spent every day of my life   for six years   researching on different fruits and vegetables pathology. We do not need  dollars or pounds to solve this problem. We are blessed in this country with world class brains. As a Nigerian I won the best oral presentation at the 2nd All African Horticulture Congress (AAHC) held in South-Africa. We had participants in that event  from all over the world. So why should a foreigner import his country’s  technology that has zero percent   of my environmental component? It can’t work.

Nigeria: A country that kills her citizens

One of my favourites sports is athletics. Throughout the month of May, I was glued to the television watching the International Athletics Federation Diamond League athletics meets held in several cities across the world.

It is always a delight watching elite athletes burning the tracks winning laurels and bringing glory to selves and country.

But that is not the main story.

My concern watching the meets is not just in the absence of Nigerians athletes competing with other world class professionals.

Indeed
, many Nigerians competed in the various tournaments except that they did not wear the green and white jersey nor wave the national flag. The Nigerians who competed in the games flew the flags of their adopted countries.

Watching the tournaments confirmed what has been a trend for some time now.

Many young Nigerian athletes and other professionals are dumping the country to realize their dreams in other climes.

At the games, I had observed how many of our athletes have taken up citizenship of other countries and proudly carrying the flags of their adopted nations.

The question that came to mind as I watched these Nigerians compete for other nations was: why are more Nigerians dumping our country for other nations?

I quite understand that it is possible to nationalize having stayed in adopted countries for some years, but the rate at which Nigerians are opting to compete for other nations point to a more underlying problem beyond just the issue of dual citizenship.

The bitter truth is: Nigerians have long lost faith in their country.

There is nowhere this tragedy is more apparent than in sports. In football, we have seen how young Nigerians are shunning the country to play for other countries.

The situation is the same for other sports. Some years ago, a celebrated Nigerian athlete, Francis Obikwelu, who had represented Nigeria in athletics later chose to run for Portugal. Born in Ontisha, Obikwelu had dumped Nigeria for good.

The news of Obikwelu’s defection was broken in 2000 by the Nigerian sprinter Mercy Nku who like Obikwelu was based in Lisbon.

Nku said Obikwelu took the decision because of neglect by Nigerian sports officials when he was injured while representing Nigeria in Sydney.

According to Nku: ‘’Obikwelu had to go to Canada to undergo an operation on his knee spending his own money.” Obikwelu became a Portuguese citizen in 2001.

Before Obikwelu, there have been several other neglected athletes, footballers, boxers and sports personalities. Many of them are wallowing in abject poverty today having been neglected by Nigerian sports authorities.

The most memorable is the sudden death of Samuel Okwaraji. Okawaraji, died playing for the national team.

For years, the hardworking play maker, who was also a qualified lawyer with masters in international law from the University of Rome collapsed and died of heart failure at a World Cup qualification match agains
t Angola at the national stadium in 1989.

Since his death, the story of how his immediate family was neglected is still being told. It is sad the way Nigeria treats her heroes.

The disregard for the labour of our heroes past is the reason why Nigerians lack patriotism for the country. Yet our leaders demand patriotism and loyalty from the citizens.

How do we expect people to be patriotic when those who have dedicated their entire lives serving the nation have nothing to show for it? Consider the manner our footballers are treated for example.

For example, once a footballer is injured, the Nigerian Football Federation turns the other eye. For years, we have all grew accustomed to how our country treat the citizens.

While those who have served the country with all their ‘might’ are used and dumped, those who have stolen the country blind are celebrated and treated like royalty.

That is why today, many young Nigerians prefer to stay outside the country where their skills are better appreciated.

That is why at this year’s IAAF athletics meets; more Nigerians competed for other nations. I suspect the trend will increase as our leaders continue to place their selfish interest over the welfare of the athletes.

Nothing demonstrates the insensitivity of our country to her heroes than the death in quick succession of two of our country’s best football heroes. Stephen Keshi and Shuaibu Amodu.

Both former footballers who later became coaches of the game worked and brought glory to Nigeria football. Take the case of Amodu who coached the national team, qualified us for the World Cup and died without his entitlement being paid to him.

At his death, Amodu is still being owed by the Nigerian Football Federation. Amodu also served at the highest l
evel as the Technical Director of our national teams.

Amodu’s cousin said at this death: “I think he (Amodu) died out of frustration because his financial status was not okay.

He was complaining of not being paid and he was having difficulties to maintain himself and his immediate family. I think the purpose of his being in Benin was to put up a bill for his payment.

He is being owed by NFF and the Edo state government.” Stephen was also owed backlog of salaries. This was despite the fact he was the first indigenous coach to win the African Nations Cup for Nigeria.

Both of men, who represent Nigeria’s best football administrators died, carrying the pain of serving an ungrateful nation to their graves.

Before he resigned early this year, Sunday Oliseh, former Nigerian Super Eagles coach, also complained about unpaid wages.

That is how Nigeria treats her citizens. It is only in Nigeria that the government will make promises and not keep them.

Many Nigerians heroes who were made promises of monetary and housing gifts are still waiting several years after. Some of them have even died while waiting for promises that will never be fulfilled.

The shabby manner we treat our sports heroes cuts across other areas of our national life.

Today in our country, pensioners who have served the country under various capacities are denied their pension.

They are living like destitute while civil servants at the Pension Boards are feeding off senior citizens sweats.

A recent landmark corruption case revealed how billions in pension fund was stolen by corrupt civil servants while ex-service men, retired civil servants queue for years and even die in the process of collecting their dues.

Sometimes I wonder if we are not chasing shadows fighting corruption. How do we expect civil servants not to be corrupt when they know the future is bleak awaits them when they retire?

When those in service are not sure of being paid their pension on retirement why won’t they steal enough for the raining day? As a country we need to begin to treat our heroes with dignity and respect. We must borrow a leaf from other countries.

A country like England celebrates their heroes both when they are alive – even posthumously.

Do our sports heroes for example have insurance cover when they become injured and can no longer compete?

What are the safety nets for those who risk their lives to protect us? When the families’ of military men who die in active service are unceremoniously thrown out of the barracks how then do we preach patriotism to those still in service?

Our leaders must appreciate our heroes when they are alive.  This will encourage Nigerians to be patriotic.

Buhari Could die - Fr. Mbaka

The controversial and fiery preacher Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has disclosed of his recent vision concerning President Muhammadu Buhari’s ailment, the Daily Post has reported.

He has revealed he is very concerned about the president’s wellbeing and believes he may not survive his illness.

However, Mbaka says that with sincere and honest prayer Buhari could pull through and return to normal health.

He also blamed certain individuals for Buhari’s plight as they are determined for Buhari to remain sick.

“Such people hate everything about the President,” he said, talking about his vision.

“His health was in a bad shape and he was asking that (Fr Mbaka) should pray for him. None among the people I have called picked my calls.

“People think I speak with Buhari every day. When people climb into power, they are dazed. It is a long dream. Our job is to pray for him but there are things that he must do and there is no way to communicate it to him.”

When describing his vision to his congregation, he called for prayers in support of Nigeria’s leader.

“We call on Michael the arch angel, Uriel the archangel, Gabriel the archangel to carry you in their wings back to life. They angels are bringing you back in their wings,” he said.

“We pray for our President and anyone that is suffering such a dangerous duisease. We lift our healing hands for divine healing upon our president. Wherever he is, may he be healed in Jesus name Amen.”

While concluding the prayer, the prophet said he wants to see the president’s enemies shining and prospering, even if his healing may be little but now with our prayers and faith, the chances of his coming out is high.

“The spiritual energy with which we make this prayer is enormous that it shall do this for us. If you are ready for testimony, my God is ready with miracles.”

President Buhari was expected to arrive back in Nigeria tomorrow (Sunday) and are awaiting confirmation.

Hilarious names of churches you will find in Nigeria (photos)

The rate at which religion tends to find its way into virtually all that we do, has become very alarming.

However, the issue is not with the various religions, but with those who believe and follow these diverse beliefs. It is no news that everyone is free to practice whichever religion suits him or her, but it is sad to note that that freedom has been abused and to a great extent has become man’s captivity.
Talking about names of churches and themes of church programmes, here are some very hilarious photos you must see! Enjoy below:

Senate Passes Law Enforcing The Purchase Of Made-In-Nigeria Goods

The senate at its plenary today passed into law the Public Procurement Act 20‎07 (amendment) bill 2016, which among other things compels government in all the three tiers, to purchase made-in-Nigeria goods. Speaking after the passage of the bill, senate President, Bukola Saraki, said

“In stimulating our economy, we all have a role to play to ensure that the executive complies especially in the area of giving first priority to locally-produced goods. This has helped many countries to develop when they had issues of downturn in their economy. I want to commend my colleagues for passing this bill‎.”

Omg! Family Storms Bedroom to Photograph their Son as He Has $ex for the First Time (Photo)

In what will come across as a really shocking story, a family has decided to record their son as he loses his virg*n*ty.

Some members of a Chinese family living in Toronto were in the room watching as the family’s teen son lost his virg*n*ty.
The story was shared on Facebook by someone who swears it to be a true story.
According to the Facebook post, the family claim it’s a family tradition that has been passed down through generations.
The intimate moment was captured by the boy’s uncle who explained; “While most people may consider it odd, for our family there is nothing more proud than celebrating a son, brother or nephew having s*x for the first time.
“We see it as the last step on the long journey to adulthood, and it’s also a special chance to witness the moment that a new life is formed.
“I snapped the photo right at the moment before he came, and it was truly a beautiful scene.”
The teen purported said, “I felt less nervous having my family there to accompany me, and also give me guidance on how to proceed. At first I had trouble entering my girlfriend, but my mother suggested I take things more slowly and relax, and I was able to eventually slip it in.”

15 Annoying Things Women Do that Guys Hate

Every man is not the same as the next! Ladies, these are 15 annoying things women do that most guys hate which could ruin your relationship.

These are the 15 thingw women do that make men hate them. According to FamilyShare, these traits could ruin your relationship if it is not checked.

1. The Trouble Makers
Most readers will agree with this one. A man gets easily annoyed when a woman cannot let go of the things she does not like. Men do not like a woman who tries to solve problems by arguing about it in front of everyone.
To onlooker: “What you looking at? Don’t you see that he is got someone already?”

2. The Drama Queens
The dramatic women love to create a storm in a glass of water. Crying helps them seem more convincing.
“That outfit is awful! I’m not going anymore! You can go by yourself, if you like!”
3. The Jealous
Among the worst complaints are against those women who are almost neurotically untrusting.
“Who is that woman in front of us? She’s looked in the rear-view mirror twice now!”

4. The Yellers
You have no clue how annoyed a man gets with shouting.
YOU DON’T EVER LISTEN TO ME! YOU WOULD MUCH RATHER TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS!”
5. The Fault Finder
She is the type of woman that finds faults in everything. Nothing is the way she wants it.
“It would have been better had you done it my way.”
6. The Bad-Humored
Are generally straight-faced and smile very little.
“What you laughing at?”
7. The Madonnas
These women do not like the fact that men have freedom of choice. They believe that men do not know how to use their agency well or even that they do not possess the maturity to do so. Generally, they act as if they were his mother.

“You are no longer allowed to use that shirt! It is horrific!”
8. The insecure
These women do not think they are worthy of their companions. They always question themselves about their feelings and the man’s taste in women.
“You think that she’s prettier than me, don’t you? I bet if she looked this way, you would totally go after her and leave me behind.”

9. The indecisive
Single boys have a lot to say about this attitude. They show interest in a girl and she shows interest back, but she soon acts distant. Boys feel very confused with this type of attitude.
Those men that are no longer single also have their own two cents to put in. Not being able to pick which clothes to wear, which place to go, and other similar decisions leaves men impatient and irritated.

“I don’t know, what do you think?”

10. The Subjective
These are the women with the inability to be direct or state what they want. They think that men have a crystal ball attached to their brains. Not only do they hope that the man will guess what they are thinking, they hope that he deciphers the “woman code,” which is given through looks, small gestures, a nose scratch or any other similar signs.
“You just don’t understand me.”
11. The Overly-Attached
Emotionally dependent women are a burden to men. They do not understand that men need to breathe, have some personal time, and demonstrate total dependence on their love. These kinds of women are similar to gum on a shoe.

“You haven’t even left yet and I already miss you!” “Without you, I would die!”

12. The Sloppy
The greatest complainers are married men, since single women don’t usually make this mistake during dating times. Men like having a good-looking woman by their side!
“People need to stop worrying about the small details.”
13. The Digger
Think more about the things that she can obtain by relating with a man, than the type of person he is.
“What year was your car made again?”

14. The Vulgar
Women like to fish for attention at whatever cost, including being revealing in their attire.
“My body is beautiful, so I’ll show it.”
15. The Liars
They do not like to do things openly and do not feel comfortable exposing the truth. They prefer to omit a fact or two to telling the truth.

19 Persons Slaughtered in Calabar Cult War

About 19 people have been murdered in the ongoing brutal cult war between the Baggar and Mafians Confraternities, as they continue to butcher and slaughter each other.

It is fear and chaos in Calabar after about 19 persons were murdered during a brutal cult war between two criminal gangs, the Baggars confraternity and Mafians.
According to a report by CrossRiverWatch, the hostility between the Baggars and Mafians sources say, began last Tuesday afternoon along Palm street where a strike team of Mafians attacked and killed a member of the Baggars gang with his skull carved open with a machete and slashes along his stomach and arms.
This infuriated his colleagues who later carried out a reprisal attack with at least two Mafians gunned down in Goldie and Yellow Duke street axis of Calabar South on Wednesday.
On Thursday about 3 more cultists were gunned down at Mbukpa, with two happening close to the Mbukpa market, one at Umo Orok near New Airport road and Bedwell, all before noon while a source said one more was killed at an undisclosed location around 9 p.m.
That same day, another cultist was murdered along Palm Street by Mayne Avenue and 1 more was gunned down along Whitehouse street also known as Dan Archibong street, close to Nyong Edem street on Friday morning between 7:30 am and 8 am respectively.
After the recent onslaught on their members, some members of Baggars Confraternity on Thursday, converged at the Cross River State University of Technology pavilion to plan an attack on selected targets in school only for a combine team of the State Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) and Operation Skolombo in about 6 siren blaring vans to chase them away following a distress call from the school security.
As a result of the ongoing cult war, shops in CRUTECH and around Ekpo Abasi, Yellow Duke, Atakpa, New Airport, Watt market, Bedwell, Egerton, Beach market, Calabar road, Mayne Avenue, Goldie and other major places in Calabar South now close earlier than usual to avoid being caught in the battle.
It was gathered that the cult war was as a result of supremacy over who controls ticketing for tricycles (keke) in major points in Calabar South.
ASP John Eluu, Police Public Relations Officer Cross River Police Headquarters has confirmed that the police is working round the clock to restore peace and order in the area.

How BBM mobile messaging app unlocks opportunity for Africa

Mobile messaging apps, no doubt, are growing ever more popular – with added social networking features – competing to meet the growing demand for free mobile calling and SMS texting services, across the globe, especially in Nigeria and the rest of the African continent as a result of market demand.

Although messaging apps have continued to change the way people communicate globally, Nigeria and South Africa appear to be the mobile first markets.
Unlocking business opportunities

With the majority of people accessing the internet from their mobile devices instead of desktop, it is clear that mobile messaging driven by BMM is unlocking business opportunities among people across the divide.

With close to 10 million visits to the BBM shop per month, and now over 26 million ad requests per day; Matthew Talbot, the Senior Vice President of BBM, in a recent telephone interview with Vanguard   revealed that Africa is already becoming a key market for rolling out BBM monetization strategy.
Biggest global opportunities

Talbot while providing insights on BBM’s strategy and focus on making BBM the most connected and social platform for consumers and highlighting Africa as a strong market with advertising markets in Nigeria and South Africa representing two of the biggest global opportunities for BlackBerry said that as part of its monetization strategy, BBM had recently put their first ad sales representative on the ground, even as he expressed confidence that there would be more to follow including more services will be launched in the near future with Nigeria as the key focus.

Speaking on mobile phone messengers, including BBM monetization and the opportunities offered by the African market, he said that, during the last couple of years, BBM has been pushing the limits of what a messaging app could be.

While BBM has continued to build a gateway to the entire connected world, where everyone can interact with friends, family, favorite brands, shopping outlets, local merchants, and more, he said that,

“Since I came to BlackBerry in 2014, we’ve added a complete Shop experience beyond just stickers including sponsored stickers, subscriptions services, top picks for apps, BBM Meetings, Android Wear support, and a number of privacy and security features including private chat.
App payment solutions

“We have also launched several in-app payment solutions, including BBM Money, PayPal and Quickteller in Nigeria.

Highlighting how the app has quickly evolved from a text-only, he said that BlackBerry smartphone messaging solution has become a bustling, cross-platform, global social network.
Opportunity for young app developers

“We will grow our users’ base and products. Our growth in Africa is continuing. We are looking for opportunities for local developers to work with us on app development. This will present opportunity for young developers. There is huge opportunity for Africa with BBM. “BBM has changed a lot in its strategy.

It is a chat app that has grown the ecosystem with about 22 million registered users in Africa and half of them coming from Nigeria which is an important market for us. As we roll services, Nigeria is a key market.
BBM growth in Africa

“Today, we have over 22 million registered customers in Africa, so it continues to be a strong market for us. Nigeria and South Africa are our two top markets in Africa and we continue to see strength in our user base across Android, iOS, BlackBerry 10 and BBOS. On iOS and Android, we see over half a million new users install BBM every single month.” That growth rate continues to accelerate as network effects take root in several markets across the continent.
Local traffic in BBM

“In Africa, the BBM Shop gets over 20 million views each month and has tallied 60 million total stickers sent and received. The Shop features more than 25 sticker packs tailored to the African market, like Naija Slang. This focus on local and relevant content helps drive the numbers higher.
