Champions League Draw!! Leicester City To Face Atletico Madrid In Quarter Final (See Full Fixtures)

Leicester City have been drawn against Spanish side Atletico Madrid in their maiden Champions League quarter-final.

The Premier League champions progressed to the last eight by beating Spanish title-chasers Sevilla 3-2 on aggregate.

Leicester will play the first leg against last year’s beaten finalists away from home on 11 or 12 April, with the return leg on 18 or 19 April.

Holders Real Madrid face Bayern Munich, while Barcelona take on Juventus and Borussia Dortmund play Monaco.

Atletico are the only side left in the quarter-finals who Leicester have previously played, but the Foxes have not beaten the Spaniards in their four previous meetings.

Diego Simeone’s side were beaten by neighbours Real Madrid on penalties in last season’s Champions League final.

The 2014 Spanish champions are fourth in La Liga this season, five points adrift of third-placed Sevilla.

‘Arsenal May Not Make Top Four’- Arsene Wenger Says

Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has hinted that his side may find it difficult making the top four in the Premier League this season.

League leaders Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all vying for four Champions League places.

Arsenal have already dropped from the top four with Manchester United chasing closely.

He noted that he is well aware of the threat West Brom pose to his team’s top four ambitions.

He told news conference “They are experienced, organised and efficient from set pieces. This season they have done very well in midfield and up front.

“It is a balanced team with good size, very equipped to deal with the Premier League.

“This season they’ve done very well in midfield. They have played very well, and up front they have Hal Robson-Kanu and Salomon Rondon who have done very well for them as well.

“It’s a very balanced team with a good size who are equipped to deal with the Premier League.

“It’s true that it is tough because West Brom is traditionally always a very difficult game, but as well it’s an opportunity for us to come back to the position that is much closer to Chelsea.

“It’s a strange championship because there’s no continuity at the moment – we’ve had games cancelled, then after you play away, you don’t play, you play FA Cup and you play away again.

“So you don’t really know where you stand. You don’t have the same number of games, you don’t have the continuity home and away. What is for sure is that we are in a position where we can’t waste points.

“We want to play in the Champions League next season. We have a tough job because we have six or seven teams fighting for the places and how well we do until the end of the season will of course depend on that.

“On the rest, we are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, we have an opportunity to do that as well. So overall those are our targets. After that, success is basically to take the maximum out of the potential of the team. Where is that? We will see.”

MASSOB Sends Strong Message To Buratai Over Anti-Biafra Comments

The MASSOB calls on its members not to be discouraged by Buratai statement.

The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has cautioned the chief of army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, to stop to stop making inflammatory statements about the Biafra struggle.

MASSOB gave the caution in reaction to statement credited to the army chief that the agitation of Biafra was a waste of time and that Biafra will never be actualised.

The Delta south zone of the group in a statement by the coordinator of Delta South MASSOB, Joseph Odikpo, criticized the army chief, insisting that their demand has come to stay, The Sun reports.

Odikpo said: “The army boss should be told that the struggle has indeed gained popular response both in Africa and outside the continent; infact, nobody can stop it.

“We want to say that the Delta South zone of MASSOB and the Biafra Independence Movement (BIM) are solidly behind the national body, under the leadership of Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike and the Director of Religious Affairs, Pastor Francis Chigbo.”

The MASSOB leader urged all members of the body not to be discouraged by Buratai statement, adding that the group will continue to press for the actualization of the Republic of Biafra, without violence.

In a related news, the national secretary of MASSOB, Comrade Ibem Ugwuoke Ibem has likened Buratai’s comments to what the leaders of India said before the country broke up leading to the creation of Pakistan.

Ibem said its drive for the restoration of Biafra cannot be deterred by the threat of Lt Gen Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

Popular Muslim Lecturer Plans To Take TB Joshua To Court For Saying Jesus Christ Is God

A popular Islamic lecturer, author and speaker, Sheikh Hussaini Yusuf Mabera, has threatened to take renowned Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua to court.

According to a fiery Facebook post on 13th March 2017, the pastor’s crime lies in the fact that he regularly describes Jesus Christ as God.

“I am filing a case to the Federal High Court of Nigeria against Pastor T.B. Joshua and co-pastors for speaking a lie against Jesus Christ by calling him God,” Sheikh Mabera began in a Facebook post which soon went viral.

Admitting that he regularly watched Joshua’s popular television channel Emmanuel TV, the Nigerian Islamist continued.

“I was completely aghast when I heard the ‘so-called’ Prophet T.B. Joshua of Emmanuel TV calling Jesus God in the presence of thousands of his audience, among whom were professors, doctors, reverend fathers and mothers, pastors and bishops.”

He added that, from his own research, the Bible itself is replete with evidence contradicting the deification of Jesus Christ. Sheikh Mabera, who has a school where he trains other Muslims in the art of defending their faith, continued by concluding T.B. Joshua and his ilk lack “proper understanding” of Scriptural truths.

“As I was watching T.B. Joshua speaking through Emmanuel TV and his audience helplessly watching and listening to his accumulated lies and unfounded praise-singing directed at Jesus, I almost cried with automatic alacrity when he said that Jesus is Almighty God.

My conclusion was that both TB Joshua and other Christians actually read their Bible without proper understanding of what they are reading.”

The fiery Islamic advocate then quoted several Scriptures to support his claims that Jesus Christ was a “servant of God”, not God Himself.

“There are millions of facts from the Scriptures and other rational facts that authentically proved that Jesus does not have even the least qualification of being God,” he opined.

Mabera ended his post by declaring Joshua was “deceiving and misguiding” his “innocent followers” with “preposterous lies”.
“Let us meet in the court of law and debate it out.

Enough is Enough,” the statement on Facebook ended.

According to information available online, Yusuf Mabera has debated several Christian clerics on various topics, regularly traversing the shores of Nigeria with his message.

MMM asks Nigerian participants to ‘Promo Tasks’

Nigerian man runs away from Malaysia after buying drinks from a club without paying

The Nigerian man allegedly bought the drinks from his club in Malaysia and ran back to Nigeria without paying.

Dejurist1 shared the receipt of the items Richie bought on his Instagram page. He claimed that the accused was later bragging about buying the drinks without paying and wished he had ordered more.

An unknown   911 Truck driver whoes loses hold of its brake as it conveys a truck of sand along umuahia-ikot ekpene express road and found itself crashing into a build just opposite MOUAU school gate.

Luckily the student where still on Xmas Holiday and the casualties  where minimal, eye witnesses said the driver tired controlling the vehicle from a hill just after the government college located along the road  bit had no choice as the truck kept speeding and he already approached the busy part of the road.

The driver and conductors sustained several body injuries,  with a man who was said to be standing in front of the house seeing the truck ran for his life but couldn't save his legs.
