The media is agog with the emergence of a viral video which showed an Indian man beating his adulterous wife and her lover in public.

Daily Mail UK reports that the furious man tied his victims to wooden posts and attacked them with sticks and rope as a crowd watched on.

His wife, wearing traditional Indian dress, screamed as he whipped her and tried to move around the pole in a bid to escape the blows.
